Design Manhole Cover Unveiling Event for the Film “Sukidemo Kiraina Amanojaku” – Held on Monday, August 11 (National Holiday)!
To celebrate the release and streaming of the feature-length animated film “Sukidemo Kiraina Amanojaku”, set in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, the city is producing its very first local design manhole covers featuring the film’s main characters, Hiiragi and Tsumugi.
The manhole covers will be installed at Saijo Tenman Park, a key location featured in an important scene of the film.
To mark the unveiling, director Tomotaka Shibayama from Studio Colorido will be joining us for a special screening event that includes both the unveiling ceremony and a talk session.

☆ SukiAma Design Manhole Completion Commemorative “Special Screening Event” ☆
To celebrate the completion of the SukiAma design manhole cover, we are excited to welcome Director Tomotaka Shibayama for a special screening event featuring a talk session + movie screening.
This is a rare opportunity to watch the film together with the director himself while hearing behind-the-scenes stories about the film’s production and location scouting.
