Surrounded by the peaceful satoyama countryside, in a nostalgic school building, and followed by a soothing visit to Yonezawa’s famous Onogawa Hot Springs—this unique tour offers a heartfelt experience that awakens all five senses.
Enjoy the sights of autumn, the sounds of familiar tunes from your youth, the rhythmic beats of Japanese taiko drums, and the warmth of the “Bijin-no-Yu” hot spring known for its beauty-enhancing waters.
This special journey includes a session on “Emotional Therapy” led by a geriatric medicine specialist, and an engaging experience with the “Personal Song Method,” where listening to cherished songs from your youth helps revive long-lost memories and emotions.
In the afternoon, refresh your mind and body with an energetic taiko drumming experience “EXADON,” brought to you by a local folk music family.
Come and experience a new kind of senior travel that will leave you thinking, “Getting older can be fun!”
