We are looking for participants to join as “Samurai Warriors” in the Uesugi Army Procession and the Kawanakajima Battle on Saturday, May 3rd (national holiday)!

Saturday, May 3, 2025 (national holiday), 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (tentative)
[Event Description]
Participants will wear the Uesugi army armor (blue) and join both the Uesugi Army Procession and the Kawanakajima Battle.
[Participation Fee]
10,000 yen (includes costume, dressing, lunch, insurance, souvenirs, etc.)
[Eligibility]
- Those 18 years or older with confidence in their physical strength (gender is not a requirement).
- Those in good health.
[Number of Participants]
50 people (If there are many applicants, participants will be selected by lottery.)
[Roles]
Approximately 4 vice-commanders, with the rest being foot soldiers. (Roles will be determined by lottery on the day of the battle.)

[Event Description]
Participants will wear samurai armor and take part in the Kawanakajima Battle.
[Participation Fee]
15,000 yen (includes costume, dressing, lunch, insurance, souvenirs, etc.)
[Eligibility]
- Those 18 years or older with confidence in their physical strength.
- Those in good health.
- Those who can participate in the rehearsal in the morning on the day of the event.
[Number of Participants]
5 people (If there are many applicants, participants will be selected by lottery.)
[Roles]
Generals of the Uesugi army or Takeda army (Roles will be determined by lottery.)
