On Saturday, October 11, 2025, during the 2nd Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks Festival, we invite you to join a special event filled with exciting activities!

Enjoy Samurai Sword Battles (Chanbara), a Fireworks Workshop, a Sengoku-style Lantern Workshop, and much more!

Bring your family and friends and have fun with us!

Main Programs

1. Sengoku Sword Battle (Chanbara Game)

“Keichō Dewa Battle – The Great Advance of Naoe Kanetsugu! VS Defend the Mogami Castle!”

  • Free participation
  • Reception opens at 11:30 AM
  • First Session: 1:00 PM (60 min, max. 80 participants)
  • Second Session: 3:00 PM (60 min, max. 80 participants)

※ Advance registration is recommended via the online form.
※ Same-day registration may be available if spaces remain.

Fireworks Workshop

  • Free participation / Registration from 12:30 PM / Limited capacity

Age Requirements

  • Fireworks Decoration Experience: No age limit
  • Paper Shell Pasting Experience: Elementary school students and above
  • Powder Filling Experience: Junior high school students and above

Elementary school students may participate with parental supervision.


Sengoku Lantern Workshop

  • Participation Fee: ¥700
  • Registration from 11:30 AM
  • Limited to the first 200 participants
