“Ishinomaki Region Tourism and Local Products Exhibition at Uesugi Castle Historical Garden”Scheduled for September 28 (Saturday) and September 29 (Sunday)

At Uesugi Castle Historical Garden, we will be holding the “Ishinomaki Region Local Products and Tourism Exhibition” on September 28 (Saturday) and September 29 (Sunday).

In addition to a seafood grilling corner where you can enjoy items like “grilled scallops,” “extra-large grilled sea urchin skewers,” and “oyster soup,” we will also offer a variety of seafood products for sale, including wakame, kelp, hijiki, funori, dried seaweed, and frozen shell-on scallops. We will also feature popular Ishinomaki souvenirs such as Sanriku mackerel cans, frozen scallop and oyster gratin, and Ishinomaki oden.

A food truck specializing in handmade rice crackers, as well as sweet potato dishes like candied sweet potatoes and sweet potato chips, will also be on site!

Additionally, “Musubimaru,” the tourism PR character from Sendai and Miyagi, will make an appearance!

The “Naseba Naru Autumn Festival” will also be taking place in the surrounding area on September 28 (Saturday) and September 29 (Sunday), so be sure to visit!
