◇ 2-Day / 1-Night Course: Experience Culture and Cuisine with Sendai & Yonezawa Beef


Day 1 – Start from JR Sendai Station!

9:20 AM – Discover the essence of the Date samurai culture at the Sendai City Museum, nestled in lush greenery.
11:00 AM – Enjoy the natural beauty of Aobayama at Sendaishiro Saikan, where tradition and modernity intersect.
12:40 PM – Sink your teeth into the ultimate gourmet burger at Niku no Itō (Sendai Station 1F), made with premium beef.
3:20 PM – Visit the historic Uesugi Shrine, a stately sanctuary on the grounds of Yonezawa Castle, dedicated to the legendary warlord Kenshin Uesugi.
4:00 PM – Engage all your senses at the Yonezawa City Uesugi Museum, which regularly features National Treasures.
6:00 PM – Unwind at Umeya Ryokan, a relaxing inn with 100% natural hot spring water and a dinner featuring exquisite Yonezawa beef.


Day 2 – Depart from Umeya Ryokan

10:00 AM – Witness traditional craftsmanship at the Sasano Folk Craft Museum, home of the hand-carved wooden “O-taka Poppo” figurines.
12:15 PM – Savor a full course of carefully selected Yonezawa beef at Kongoukaku, operated by the long-established meat purveyor “Yonezawa Gyu Oki.”
1:30 PM – Step back in time at Toko Sake Brewery, and learn about the art of sake-making in a historical setting.
2:45 PM – Enjoy a moment at a café along the castle moat while exploring Takayama-do Marunouchi, a unique shop blending Yonezawa-ori textile traditions with modern design.

Finally, return to Sendai Station.

Finally, return to Sendai Station.
