Special Exhibition at Uesugi Museum in Yonezawa City: “KAGAYA Starry Sky World Exhibition”

Experience the world of KAGAYA, a popular astrophotographer and renowned planetarium visual creator.

Chasing the fleeting eternity and traveling the world, KAGAYA has expressed the magnificent miracles woven by the sky and the Earth through photography, videos, and planetarium programs. His starry sky photographs have been featured in elementary school science textbooks, and he has amassed over 930,000 followers on X (as of January 2024), continuing to convey the allure of the night sky to many people.

In this exhibition, we showcase representative photographic works and present beautiful starry sky videos created by KAGAYA, offering visitors an opportunity to truly experience Earth within the cosmos.

Event Details:

  • Duration: June 29, 2024 (Sat) – September 1, 2024 (Sun)
  • Opening Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Last admission at 4:30 PM)
  • Closed on: July 24 (Wed), August 28 (Wed)
  • Admission Fee: General 590 yen (470 yen for groups of 20 or more), High School/College Students 190 yen (150 yen for groups), Junior High School Students and below free of charge
