Notice of Road Closure: Nishiazuma Sky Valley

Notice of Road Closure: Nishiazuma Sky Valley

The Nishiazuma Sky Valley has been closed to traffic at night starting from 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025 (Reiwa 7).

Furthermore, the road will be completely closed for the winter season starting from 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Please note that even before the scheduled winter closure, the road may be closed earlier due to snowfall or icy conditions.


◆ Nighttime Closure (due to risk of icy road conditions)

Period: October 20 (Mon) – November 4 (Tue), 2025
Hours: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. the following morning

Please note that the schedule may change depending on road conditions.


◆ Winter Closure

Period: From 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025

Depending on snowfall, the closure period may begin earlier.
Scheduled reopening: 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026 (Reiwa 8).
