Volunteers Needed for the 48th Uesugi Snow Lantern Festival!
The lighting of the snow lantern candles and the creation of snow bonbori are carried out every year with the support of volunteers.
We look forward to your participation again this year to help make the festival more exciting and enjoyable for many visitors. Participation as groups or clubs is also highly welcomed!
Date and Time:
February 8 (Saturday) & 9 (Sunday), 2025
From 16:00 to 21:00 (until 20:00 on the 9th)
(*Please gather at the festival venue headquarters by 16:00.)
Eligibility:
18 years and older, all genders welcome.
Tasks:
- Lighting candles for the snow lanterns, making snow bonbori, etc.
- Site maintenance (collecting trash, ensuring safe walkways, etc.)
You will work together under the direction of the staff.
How to Apply:
Please complete the application form (PDF) and submit it directly to the office, or send it by mail or fax.
Deadline:
January 31, 2025 (Wednesday)
Additional Information:
Dinner will be provided by the office on the day of the event.
As the work will be conducted in the snow, please make sure to bring your own cold-weather gear and boots.
