The 43rd Annual Yonezawa Beef Festival (FY 2025) – Saturday, September 6

The Annual Yonezawa Beef Festival Returns on Saturday, September 6!

The much-loved Yonezawa Beef Festival will be held once again along the scenic Matsukawa River on Saturday, September 6, 2025!

This large-scale event brings together around 900 people to enjoy top-grade Yonezawa beef, one of Japan’s most renowned wagyu brands. As evening falls, participants gather around traditional charcoal grills (shichirin) set up inside rows of riverside tents. There, they savor tender, marbled slices of melt-in-your-mouth beef in a lively and festive atmosphere.

First held in 1980, the festival was created to celebrate and promote Yonezawa beef, the pride of the local “Yonezawa Taste ABCs,” and to encourage wider appreciation and enjoyment of this regional delicacy.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to indulge in Japan’s finest wagyu!

Please note: Tickets must be purchased in advance.
