The 44th Onogawa Hot Spring Firefly Festival.

The firefly season has arrived again this year!

From June 15th (Saturday) to July 15th (Monday), the “Onogawa Onsen Firefly Festival” will be held.

Various events will be held during this period, so please come to Onogawa Onsen!

◆ Montedio Yamagata Public Viewing, etc.

Date: July 6th (Saturday) 18:00-21:00

※ The hot spring town will be closed to traffic from 17:00.

◆ Kitchen Car Stalls (Scheduled): K-Taro, Denemon, Curry Shop GARUBANZO, Yonezawa Matsukawa Lions Club, Namikata Sheep Meat, Inakaya, Matsushima-ya, Cafe Towa, Hamada Ranch, COMFORTA

Date: June 22nd (Saturday)・23rd (Sunday) / June 29th (Saturday)・30th (Sunday) 18:30-21:00

Location: Firefly Park

◆ Firefly Guide

Town guides will guide you to the best places to see fireflies!

Period: Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Fridays from June 15th (Saturday) to July 15th (Monday) (4 days a week)

Time: Starts at 20:00, Duration: 30 minutes

※ There will be no guides on July 6th and 7th due to events.

Period: Mid-June to Mid-July

Time: Around 20:00 to around 21:00

Location: Onogawa Onsen Firefly Park

◆ Please strictly adhere to the following points to protect the firefly habitat:

  1. Do not use flashlights or lights.
  2. Do not touch or catch fireflies.
  3. Take your garbage home.
  4. Do not make loud noises.

We ask for your cooperation in protecting the fireflies.
