Abundant Autumn at Tengendai: ‘Autumn Four Sceneries Festival 2024

The annual autumn event will expand its offerings to match the four consecutive long weekends during the period!

We are preparing numerous activities under the “Autumn Four Sceneries Festival” and look forward to your visit.

◇ Operating Period / Last day of summer mountain lift: October 4 (Monday)

◇ Operating Hours / Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Weekdays: 8:20 AM – 5:00 PM

◇ Autumn First Festival: September 14 (Saturday) – September 16 (Monday, Respect for the Aged Day)

  • Yonezawa Citizen Appreciation Day: Free ropeway rides / Special lift prices: Adults ¥1,350, Elementary school students ¥1,050
  • Available to everyone, not just citizens.

◇ Autumn Equinox Festival: September 21 (Saturday) – September 23 (Monday, Autumn Equinox Day)

  • Cloud-top fireworks and sunset cruising

◇ Autumn Peak Festival: October 12 (Saturday) – October 14 (Monday, Sports Day)

  • Mt. Nishi-Azuma traverse hiking and Nishi-Otaki Grande course

◇ Late Autumn Festival: November 2 (Saturday) – November 4 (Monday, Culture Day)

  • Grand parachute fireworks catching event in the highlands
