Tengen-dai Ski Resort Opens on November 23! (Winter Mountain Safety Prayer Ceremony & Pre-Opening Scheduled for November 22)

Tengen-dai Ski Resort will open on Saturday, November 23 (public holiday)!

On Friday, November 22, we will hold the Winter Mountain Safety Prayer Ceremony, followed by the pre-opening of the slopes.

This season, we will host various events, so we hope you’ll come and join us!

Please note that the opening date may change depending on snowfall conditions.

◆ November 22 (Friday) Winter Mountain Safety Prayer Ceremony

  • Ceremony: 10:00 AM~ (Afterwards, pre-opening of the slopes)

◆ November 23 (Saturday, public holiday) Ski Resort Opening

  • First Ski Campaign: November 23 (Saturday, public holiday) – December 13 (Friday) (Every day during this period)

  • Tengen-dai Highland Snowshoe & Kanjiki (snow walking) Experience TourAt an altitude of 1,350m, walk across the snowy plains of Tengen-dai with your choice of equipment. Enjoy panoramic views of the Yamagata Five Peaks and the Yonezawa Basin!
