A nationally-designated historic site that shares a connection with Uesugi Yōzan.

This is a temple aligned with the Shingon sect of Buddhism. When Yōzan’s former teacher, Hosoi Heishū, visited him, Yōzan gave him a tour of this temple and allowed his teacher to rest here.
