To commemorate the theatrical release and online distribution of the feature-length animated film “Even If You Don’t Like It, You’re a Contrarian”, set in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, a special local manhole cover featuring the film’s main characters, Hiiragi and Tsumugi, has been created and installed at Saijō Tenman Park, one of the film’s key locations.
In conjunction with this project, Manhole Cards featuring the same design will be distributed starting Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Michi-no-Eki Yonezawa General Tourist Information Center.

Sukiamma Design – Manhole Card Distribution Event
To celebrate the start of distribution, a special event will be held at Michi-no-Eki Yonezawa.
Exclusive novelty items will also be available for visitors.

A manhole-themed event will also be held at the 49th Uesugi Snow Lantern Festival, scheduled for February 14 (Sat)–15 (Sun), 2026.
