1st Yonazawa Sengoku Fireworks Festival – Held on Saturday, October 12th!

1st Yonazawa Sengoku Fireworks Festival – Held on Saturday, October 12th! Featuring Fireworks from Japan’s Top Artisans!

Inspired by the desire to “leave a legacy of fireworks for the local children,” three youth economic organizations in Yonazawa City established the “Yonazawa Sengoku Fireworks Festival Committee.” They have refined the festival into a paid-seating event and started efforts to maintain it as a sustainable event, reviving the fireworks festival that had almost been lost due to the pandemic.

We invite not only local residents but also many visitors from outside the region to Yonazawa City to experience its wonderful atmosphere and the best hospitality.

In addition to the fireworks, various events will be held simultaneously. Enjoy the genuine autumn fireworks, “Akisumi Fireworks,” set against the unique “Sengoku” theme, and experience the “Best Entertainment” from award-winning fireworks artisans.
